The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors association (ICMAD)—the voice of the entrepreneur for “indie” companies doing business in the cosmetic industry for almost 40 years—has announced several leadership changes.

After 20 years, the executive director and tireless advocate, Penni Jones, has retired. She will remain active within the association as a consultant. In an effort to take the association to new heights and increase domestic and international visibility, the board of directors has decided to eliminate and replace the position of executive director with a newly created position of president/CEO, with Pam Busiek assuming the responsibilities of running the day-to-day activities of the association.
